How to Get Started
1. Schedule a short visit
Let’s have an introductory conversation by phone or in person to see if we are a good fit for each other. We’ll decide if it makes sense to take the next step and continue our conversation.
2. Hold a planning meeting
We're committed to understanding what financial freedom means to each of our clients. With that knowledge, we'll take the time to get to know the details of your unique financial circumstances, goals and objectives. The process starts with getting organized. Here's a list of materials to bring with you:
- Your most recent tax return
- Your most recent paystub(s)
- Recent investment statements
- Retirement plan information
- Life and long-term care insurance information
- Mortgage information
- Social Security estimate of benefits
- A list of your goals and questions: We want to make sure your main issues and concerns are addressed.
3. Review your Financial Plan
Whether you find yourself at the beginning, middle, or culmination of this journey, we focus on your individual circumstances to guide and direct you with a customized plan that allows us the flexibility to quickly adjust for the inevitable life events we all face. We'll be there to help you stay centered on your financial goals.
How We're Compensated
The majority of our business is fee based investment management with a financial planning approach. Our goal is to manage assets and wealth holistically to meet the objectives of the client, and to do so in a manner which provides confidence and peace of mind.
Being fee-based means that your fees for services will be set appropriately for your level of assets and the level of complexity of your financial situation. It’s best to dig deeper into this when we’re face to face so we can speak to your specific situation. Regardless of your financial goals or level of assets, KMJ Financial Solutions has a plan that will work for you.
